Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
My son's birthday is coming up and my ex will have him for 2 hours 6-8 I won't be able to be there so my son have to be with his grandparents while I'm at work. So here's the problem my parents live about an hour away and my ex about 2 from them I know the court papers state Ordered to return the child to the residence of ME . So does that mean my parents have to drive all the way to my house so she can pick him up or does she have to drive to their house to get him.

It appears that the child is to be returned to YOU at your residence.
So, yes, your parents must do the exchange at your home. Unless, of course, if you and the mother can agree to another exchange location.
Hopefully, you and your ex can come to an agreement regarding your son's birthday. Since you won't be there, perhaps she could pick the child up early and keep him longer in exchange for driving further.
If she won't agree, then to follow the judge's order then your parents will need to do the exchange of the child at your home.
Good luck!
Merry Christmas!
