Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
My son's father and I are in a battle for paternity/custody/support and he denies paternity but wants custody. I am willing to work with him on visitation once the results prove he's the father, but what can I ask for reasonably from him as far as visitation is concerned. My son is 6 mos and he's never cared to see him, pay child support, ask about him or anything. Can I ask for him to take parenting classes, as I did before he was born, before he can have visitation? Can I also ask that he has 10 supervised visitations with his son, in my home as a chance to get to know his son before he has unsupervised 3 hour, 3 day a week visitations?

If you don't have an attorney, you definately need one.
Since I assume that you have an attorney, it is NOT appropriate for me to answer your question.
Trust your attorney or hire one that you trust.
A person can deny paternity but still ask for custody.
DNA testing should be done to determine if he's the father. If he's not, then he has no right to see the kid.
