If my son's father gives up his parental rights, will he still have to the back child support and future child support?

Future child support, no,he would not have to pay as he would no longer be a parent. Back child support, yes, he would have to pay as he incurred this obligation when he was a parent.. However, a court would have to issue an order regarding the parental rights. He can't just voluntarily give them up. See a family law attorney.
