Step-parents are not parents. They are not supposed to cut the child's hair. This is a common problem. I just did a mediation less than 2 weeks ago where this was a problem.
What can you do about it? Talk to his father.
Apparently this has not worked.
You can send the father a certified letter, return receipt requested putting them on notice in writing that she is not to cut his hair again.
But if she cuts his hair again, you are going to need to retain the services of an attorney and go back to court.
So, you need to start savings your money to hire an attorney to go back to court.
You also need to document all the other problems that you are having with your ex-husband and his wife.
You need witnesses that are willing to come to court to testify about the problems that you are having with them too.
Since you are looking at spending thousands of dollars in legal fees, I would definitely want to go to court over more than just hair cuts. The judge is just not going to get upset about cutting a kid's hair so you are going to keep more than that to get a judge on your side.
Good luck!
