Spousal Support
How many months od Spousal support should I prepare for when I get divorved. Marriage is 17 years old. I am the sole money maker in the family? Wife can go back and teach school and has college degree.

Every situation is different, and will depend entirely on the facts presented and negotiations that ensue. PURELY as a ballpark figure, possibly somewhere in the neighborhood of 20% of your net while the case is pending, and then for three years (maximum) after the divorce is final. If there are substantial assets of the marriage that can be liquidated, then there may be no need for spousal support.
