Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
Hello. My (soon to be) ex spouse and I are concluding a successful mediation in Texas. I expect to have the Mediated Settlement Agreement (MSA) from the mediator today or tomorrow. We would like to keep costs as low as possible and not hire local attorney(s). Can we submit our MSA here online for review and to have an online attorney prepare the decree and any other necessary documents? If so, what is the cost and how would we then go about filing the documents with the court?
Thanks...

Not likely. I am not aware of any such service. At the same time, once you have an MSA, it should be a reasonable cost for the attorney to prepare the decree, and any supporting documents necessary. You may need real estates documents and/or QDRO. Now that you have successfully resolved all of your issues (for which you are both to be congratulated), complete the process in a legally-enforceable manner, and retain one attorney to prepare and proveup the decree.
