If my spouse files the petition of Divorce what is the probability I will have to pay alimony

The answer to this question is going to depend on a lot of factors that you haven't told us about.

However, Texas has a history of being hostile to the idea of alimony. The purpose of alimony, generally, is not to provide for the ex-wife's support for the rest of her life; the idea behind it is that if she doesn't have job skills, to give her some time to acquire those skills so that she can support herself.

An exception to this is if Mom is disabled � blind, or in a wheelchair. Or if she is the sole caretaker for a seriously disabled child.
