Can ex spouse still name me as guarantor?

Can an ex spouse still write me in as guarantor on childs medical bills, even though I do not carry the medical insurance and they have custody? When they do this, they do not pay their half and the bills keep coming!

Your divorce decree determines your obligation for medical bills. You are usually required to pay one-half that insurance doesn't pay. If the medical providers are sending you bills for balances after you paid your half, send them a copy of the divorce decree highlighting the portion requiring you to pay only half. They should then look to your ex.
