I believe military couples must go to the civil courts where they reside. Texas is a no fault state. Insupportability (irreconcilable differences) is all that is required.

Where there are children from the marriage, custody, viistation, and child support must also be decided. Finally marital property must be divided. Each of these matters can be rather complex. You need to retain an attorney to represent youi.

Essentially, one would file, With children there would be a hearing on tempoarary orders which would award temporary child custody, visitation and support. Substequently there would be a hearing on final orders. Normally the parties negotiate the terms of the final decree and the hearing on final orders is minimal.
