Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

where do i stand?

I have 2 children that my ex and i have joint custody and my ex is the custodial parent.

my kids have been with me since 06/16/06 and i have enrolled them in school, bought cloths, food and i am still paying child support. the mother has very little to do with our children and will not provide me with her current address. i have been told that she can do this as long as she provides for them before a six month period has expired. is this true and where do i stand within the law?

You should file a motion to modify to change the custodial parent and the child support. Do not let the children return to your ex-wife until this has been decided at least in temporary orders.
