Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

If I currently have a standard custody order in place, and one of his visitation times is said to be on Thursday from 6-8PM, and I attend a night class during that time frame, would I be in violation of the court order if I let him know that our child will be at my parents' house instead? But he refuses to pick her up from them instead. We have tried to schedule another day, but my schedule is really limited so him getting her from my parent's is the only way, but he keeps saying no he won't go get her.

Believe it or not, you did not provide enough information to answer.

I would need a copy of your current court order to read what you are ordered to do.

If you want to sit down and talk, I charge $1 per minute. You need to email me at

[email protected] for an appointment. I book up at these low rates so you need to be flexible.

Most appointments are less than 2 hours ($120).
