Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

out of state adoptions

there is a young lady at the age of 16 years old that is in the custody of the state of Texas. Her name is Brionna Fuller at the age of 14 Brionna ran away from Texas and came to Georgia. I did the right thing and call the authoritys. They left Brionna with me for 2 weeks. At the 2 week mark defac in Georgia came and picked Brionna up then Texas came and got her. There has been many bad things that has happened to Brionna while she has been in Texas custody. Brionna is currently on the run and was to be place with my family so we can give her a great and stable home before something bad happens to her trying to run from Texas to Georgia. Please help me with some help. This is just the short version.

I admire your desire and willingness to help this young girl. You will need to hire an attorney in Texas in or near the county where the original charges surfaced. You will also need to hire a lawyer in Georgia to assist in the placement, including home study. I have not idea about the details or the parents of the girl, but adoption is an idea far down the road. Right now, you need to handle the juvenile issues, conservatorship and placement.
