Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
In the state of Texas I know that for someone under the age of 18 must have parental consent to marry to someone under the age, but if the person's parents are divorced, can the person be allowed to have the biological parent that has sole custody be the only parent to sign the papers allowing parental consent?
Or does the person have to have both biological parents sign?
Or can they have the biological parent that has sole custody and their step parent that is married to the biological parent that has sole custody sign if it takes 2 signatures?
And does the fact that the person under aged is pregnant change anything in the situation.
Full details please.

Usually, the power to consent to a child's underage marriage is specifically awarded in the divorce decree. Have you read it yet?
