Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

In the state of Texas do you need an attorney to write up a POA for a child or can we print one and have it notarized?

A power of attorney is only effective if the people you present it to choose to accept it. They are not required to. If the POA looks "homemade" there is a good chance it won't be accepted.

What you need to do depends on what you are trying to accomplish. Without more information, I'm not sure what to tell you to do.
