Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Out of state visitation-appropriate age

I know that ages very by state and case but I was wondering what the average age is for a judge to typically allow a child to fly by themselves? My ex-husband wants me to send my 6 year old on a flight because he moved out of state. We have been flying back and forth with her for the past two years and he and been paying but he now believes she is old enough to fly with her 13 year old sister without an adult!

Check with the airlines. What the judge says is irrelevant if the airline won't board the child.

Talk to the airlines, there are always tons of kids flying alone on Friday afternoon.

This might be more tramatic for you than for her!
