There are many factors that the court considers in determining primary conservatorship. Absent some compelling facts, the court will appoint the parents as joint conservators, with one person being primary, and the other one have visitation. You may be entitled to spousal support to help you get trained/educated for a job/career, while continuing to raise your children. Consult with a family law attorney to explore your options.
