step children whom use thier stepfathers name, but, not adopted

If a couple got a divorce, and the only child wasn't

really the male's, but the child didn't know it, and went by his name without adoption, would the male have any visitation rights? The biological father has sighned over his rights, and the stepfather has been there since the child was 2, he is now I AGREE6.

The step=parent who did not adopt has only those rights granted by the biological mother at her discretion.

Assuming you were not married to the step-father at the time of the child's birth, then without a formal adoption, he has no rights to the child.
