Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My step kids mother tried to commit suicide last night and the hospital is holding her on suicide watch for 5 - 10 days. We are suppose to take them home on Sunday, but this is obviously not a safe environment for them what is it that we can do to get a temporary order until we can file a modifacation to gain custody ourselves.

Hopefully by now you have retained an attorney, and filed for a TRO and a temporary hearing on the issue of conservatorship.
