Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I am a step parent, my husband was killed in an mva, the child's mother won't allow me to see the child anymore, I live in Texas, can she do this t me legally? What rights do I have?

Step parents don't have rights in Texas. It's a relationship that isn't recognized in the Family Code (except in the section on stepparent termination and adoption).
