Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

What steps do I take if my husband never divorsed his first wife. He was married in 1975, 1979 and to me 2004. I can find his divorce records for second marriage but not first. Where would I file Bigamy charges. I live in Texas

Look up the marriage license records for the second marriage. There may be more detail about the first marriage.

Also look up the initial petition for the divorce for the second marriage. There should be information about the first marriage and how it ended.

Also if the first wife died, that would end the marriage as well.

Another possibility is that there may not have been a first marriage.
