Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Stolen Pics on myspace

My ex-husband and I have been divorced for 7 years. He has no parental rights. Last year his ex-girlfriend tracked me down and wanted to know waht happened in our divorce. I was highly suspicious, but he was abusive to me and they had a child. I talked to her and we became friends. I allowed her access to my provate myspace page and told her any pictures were to not be shown to my ex as I still have a restraining order against him. She copied and pasted the pics and emailed them to him without permission. I have changed all my phone numbers, and have blocked her from my page, but is there anything else I can do legally? I have PTSD and am really freaked out by this. Thanks!

Re: Stolen Pics on myspace

You have no legal recourse against her. As long as she doesn't use the pics for a commercial purpose. She was not a party to the restraining order, and you invited onto your private account. When pics are posted publicly, and the internet is public (even on a private myspace account)then you made it available. Sorry.
