Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I need to stop my ex friend from comming to my work and harassing me, but I don't know where to go to have a judge help me. Please tell me where to go get help from a Judge. I don't have much money as I just started working again.

It depends on the type of harassment. If the type of harassment suggests a potential risk of harm to your physical well-being, you can seek a protective order. The Texas Office of the Attorney General has a Protective Order Kit you can download and use.

If there is no immediate risk of harm, you might still be able to call the police and complain about stalking. If they don't do anything, you could swear out a complaint to the local criminal district attorney.

If your employer is helpful, they can have her arrested as a trespasser.

If your employer is causing you any grief, you might also file a tort suit against her in small claims court and seek an injunction and money damages.
