Sudden Change of Address for Child Without Notification
Was granted visitation rights of Thurs.6:00pm to Mon.8:00am every other week. For 2 YEARS it was agreed by both parties to 7days on and 7 days off. Can he suddenly, without warning, decide to move and stop what was mutually agreed upon? Child wants to stay with her mother. She is 7 1/2 years old.

Re: Sudden Change of Address for Child Without Notification
It depends on what was stated in your Divorce Decree. If the decree states that the father is the sole managing conservator and there is a standard visitation order, then he can withhold in a manner consistent with the decree provision. However, you can go back to court and request the decree be modified to conform with the oral agreement. Any further questions, email me.

He can move if he does not change the order, you can not force him to see the child. If you need help e-mail me.
