Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
I am being sued for back child support in Texas by a woman in Germany eventhough no paternity test was ever done. Would she and the child have to come to the states to do the paternity test or would the court possibly allow her to send a sample in from Germany.

Depends on how old the child is. If the child is more than four years old and you were engaged in sexual activity with the woman during the probable time of conception and you ever held the child out as your own, it's your child no matter what the DNA says. That does not answer your DNA question, though. It would seem that the lab in the US and a lab in Germany would coordinate sharing DNA profiles so that neither sample had to cross the ocean in a biological form.
