I would like to sue my daughter and son-in-law for visitation rights with

my 3 wk old granddaughter. Is this type of suit won very often?

Re: Sueing for Grandparent visitation rights

If the parents are married, you do not have standing to sue.

If they are divorcing, you can intervene in their lawsuit.

If your daughter dies or goes to jail, you have standing to ask for visitation.

Grandparents rights are limited. You can go to the Texas Family Code and read about grandparent rights for yourself.
