Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My ex is suing me. He wants to reduce his child support payments. I have been more than generous to him in reducing in the part and today I get paperwork that he is suing. He lives and filed in Tx and I live in CA. How do I file an appearance and answer?

You really need to get a lawyer in the county (or nearby county) where the suit is filed. Generally, the court will adjust the support payments to reflect guideline support of his current income. If it can be shown that he is delberately un- or under-employed, then the court will adjust it accordingly.
