Summer Possession Visitation
My ex and I have a standars summer visitation order set which allows for the other parent to request ''any one weekend'' from the other parents summer month. With all papers filed and mailed correctly within the time frame stated in legal documents, what do you or can you do if the other parent refuses to let the other parent have the child for that weekend? What can happen to the other parent in this case?

Re: Summer Possession Visitation
You can file an enforcement action and make them regret it, although you can't file the enforcement until after the weekend has actually been refused.
To make sure you have grounds to do an enforcement you have to actually be at the place designated for you to pickup the child(ren), at the time designated in your order/decree for the beginning of your weekend. The other parent just telling you you can't have the weekend isn't enough. You have to have actually tried to exercise your period of possession for it to be in violation of the order/decree.
