Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

summer visitation

my step-daughter needs to go to summer school in order to pass to the 9th grade. Her dad is not in agreeance with this and wants her to go and spend time with him. she has expressed that she wants to go to summer school and then go with her dad. what do we have to do so that we are not in contempt of court. fater will not reason with anything. I am in the military and stationed in georgia, and my step-daughters father lives in texas

You need a lawyer in the county and state where the orders originate from -- to file a Motion to Modify the orders to allow her to attend summer school. Obviously, it needs to be done quickly, in order to get a hearing date on the court's docket.
