Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
support
My ex husband currently is paying child support (court ordered). He doesn't pay the amount he is supposed to now. He is considering moving to Oklahoma. If he quits paying will there be anything I can do?

Re: support
You can go to the TX A G office and they will eventually contact the OK A G office and he still owes the money.
It is NOT dischargeable thru bankruptcy.
If he does not pay, his IRS refund will be attached. If he still owes when he begins to receive ss, his payment will be reduced.
The debt never goes away.
If he dies, his estate owes the money.
You will need an address in OK to have him served.
Good luck!
