Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Support

My husband recently changed jobs. A increase was obtained. He has two children from prior marriage . He has verbally advised his ex of the change. Are there other steps he needs to take regarding the change of his employer. He currently pays his child support based of the 25% of his salary stated amount in the last modification of child support which was about a year ago.

Re: Support

He should send a letter to the court, the child support office, and the state court registry in Austin (see your last order - it should have the address in the capitalized language) stating the new work address. It is not your responsibility to voluntarily increase your support, although you may if you like.
