Support and visitation

My son's father and I were not married. He has married another woman after knowing her less than 2 months. He has not provided me with any support for our son. He has only visited twice in the past two and a half months, my son does not know him. Now he is threating to take him from me and telling people including ones I know that I am an unfit parent. I have agreed to not ask for child support in return he must pay half the daycare and can visit his son in a public place with me, on sundays. My son is only 15 months old, his father changed one diaper a year ago and has only feed him a few times. His current wife has an ex husband that was in prison for beating her and their son, I found out recently he is out of prison and has been calling her. My question is what are my rights with not letting him take the child out of my custody and what I can do about the threating.

You need to pursue a Suit Affecting the Parent Child Relationship (SAPCR). The father will likely be granted visitation - even if he should pursue the SAPCR first - but it would likely be supervised visitation until the child reaches 3 years old - if he establishes a father-child relationship. The other things that you mention would have to be proven in court with evidence and testimony to substantiate your statements.
