Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Switching child support/ court orders to another state

My divorce, child custody and child support was all done in Washington state. My current husband and I and my children have since moved to Texas and have been here for the past 10 months and are making TX our home. What do I need to do to switch everything from WA to TX. Also, my husband wants to adopt my children-how would we go about that.

As long as your ex is current on his child support you don't need to change anything.

As for the adoption - will your ex agree to it? It's probably not going to happen if he won't. Either way, you need to talk to a good family law attorney about the possibilities.
