Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I am currently taking care of my siblings. They were adopted through CPS by my parents. Since then my mother has passed away and my father has gotten older so the situation has changed a great deal. My question is this they receive a subsidy and that is the only way I can afford to care for them is there a way to switch custody of the children without loosening the adoption benefits they receive, medical, subsidy, and collage fund. I want to provide them with the future they deserve any help with this will be most appreciated. I am in Texas.

Bless you!

You need an experienced family law attorney to help you. I understand that you want to make sure that you don't "mess" anything up so that you lose the $$. An experienced and compassionate attorney (yes, there are a few of us out there!) will understand what your goals are -- you just need to find one that can understand living on a tight budget!

If money is an issue, try Lone Star Legal. They provide legal services for FREE. They are other free (pro bono) legal providers out there so look around.

Where are they? They can be tough to find. Some law schools have them and many county law groups have them. Check out my website under my FAQsection for websites (www.familylaw4u.com) or check out the American Bar Assocation website for free legal sites or the State Bar of Texas for free legal websites.

Good luck!
