teen change name

i will graduate in may of this year. i live with my mom, brother, and step-dad. i consider my step-dad my real dad and would like to change my last name to his. my real dad still sends child support. is there any way i can change my name and still get child support. i would like to have his last name on my diploma. is this possible.

Once you turn 18, you are an adult and can change your name without your parent's consent.

So if you turn 18 soon, you can get the name change done in time to graduate in May.
