Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I am a teen, living with my mother, and i have a younger half-brother from my father, who lives with his mother, she has recently been under the influence of ALOT of medications, taking more than perscribed, and often is undable to care for her children herself. My father gave up his rights, but i however have been more than involved in the childs life, frequently caring for him, proving to be more than capible of feeding, dressing, cleaning, loving, etc. but with his mother under such heavy influence of medications, and his adoptive father having recently had a sugery, to were even when he is home from work, i feel he cannot give my brother all the care and attention he needs, im 17 years old, and want to do whatever necissary to get coustody of my brother. what do i need to do.

You need to try to find a local attorney who will help you on a pro bono (for free) basis. See if there is a local bar association for the city in which you live and contact it. If not, start calling law firms that advertise for family law and see if you cannot get the help you need.
