Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Teen on probation

I am a juvenile on probation. My PO has ordered me to move in with my father. I moved out of his house to mom's for reasons I will not talk about. I did not want to go back to my dad's but i had no choice. Now i would like to get married to my boyfriend who i love very much. He lives in the town i got put on probation. My probation officer says I can not stay with him even if we were to get married. My mother is giving consent for us to get married. But even if we did get married...she said i wouldn't be able to live with him. I would be violation my terms of probation. Can she do this? Can a Juvinile Probation System keep me from living with my legal husband? I'm in dire straights....please let me know what you think. Thanks

Re: Teen on probation

It might be technically possible to modify the terms of your probation. See if you can talk to the attorney who represented you in the case when you got probation.

Re: Teen on probation

Both parents normally must approve for a minor to get married. Then if they do and you do you could modify the terms of probation.
