Temp. Child Custody

Is there any possible way that me being a paternal Grandmother can get Temp. Child Custody from my son and his girlfriend/comonlaw wife for them neglecting my 6 month old Grandaughter,my husband and I have her 90% of the time,when they bring her to us to watch her they don't come back or call for days, she was sick and needed medical treatment and I could not find them to give permission for me to take her to the hospital, when I did find them and let them know, they took there time getting here to get her, they did not get her medication till 4 days after and did not even give it to her at the right times, when I asked for the medication it was in there car and ruined, there house is not suitable for a infant to live in and be healthy, because of the trash, dogs, fleas, spiders, roaches,and the dogs potty in the house at times. My son brings grown pit bulls home and says they are safe for her to be around,I would just like to have the temp. custody till they can get their lifes strightened out, and can provide for her needs, I have alot more to address if someone could please contact me for the rest.

If what you say is true and you can prove it, you might be able to get full custody. You would need to file a Suit Affecting the Parent Child Relationship. The next time the mother and father bring you the child or you can get the child in your possession, file the suit. I hope it's clear that you would need a good lawyer to do this for you. I presume that this child is important to you and you will try to find a good lawyer.
