temporary custody

me and my wife are separated for 2 years when we first separated i got temorary custody due to she had abandonment charges we are still not divorced but she is trying to keep them from me and file child support she also had food stamps on them will i have to pay the government back for that since she refused to tell me where she lived and i could not get the kids back from her till recently. does my temporary custody still stand

Was the divorce ever dismissed for "want of prosecution". If so, the temporary orders ended if the case was dismissed.

If the case is still active, then the temp. orders control.

By the way, this happens all the time. Nothing out of the ordinary for a family law attorney.
