what happens when a temporary orders for custody expire?

If the orders have expired and there are no final orders, then everything goes back to how it was before the orders were entered. Both guardians have rights to decide on all things regarding the children. Most temporary orders do not expire until final orders are entered which dispose of the temporary orders. I would consult a lawyer to assure the orders have in fact expired.
