Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

If I have a temporary possession restraining order on me from having possession of my child, can I still drop gifts I have for him off at his house. There is nothing that says I have to stay a certain amount of distance away from him. It just states I cannot have possession of him. I have been told that I can talk to him on the phone any time, but I'm not sure about dropping things off for him without even seeing him at all. I have been threatened that they will have me arrested if I come by there again.

Generally, a person has the right to exclude people from his house (front porch, front yard, etc.). BUT it is very unlikely that a policeman would arrest you for simply dropping off a present for your child.

Remember that you can also MAIL things to your child.
