Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
temporary visitation- is it legally binding?
octber 10,2001-november 10,2001 my son's father and i had a temporary visitation ordered for that month and supposably that month only-after the month was over -the two lawyers went infrnt of the judge and stated that we will figure out visitation out on our own with out the hep of the court- never recieved any more documentations. the only documents we recieved were copies of hand written papers by the D.A for the temp order- now after a year of allowing my son's father to choose his days that he does not abide by anyway he said that a lawyer had told him that the temp order was legally binding as a real visitation order even though there is no stanp or seal or real documents- even with the ''experation'' date is it really legally binding and how do i keep him from keeping me in texas? he is angered that i am getting married and wants to control my living arrangments even though i will be going to school out of town/state.

A lawyer will have to review your documents, and the entire circumstances of your life. Since you seem to have a lawyer in court, you should discuss these matters with that lawyer.
