terminated rights because of drug conviction?

ok my x & his wife have filed termanition & adoption because i went to prison for drugs. i've been out since 7-26-04 i have a full time job im clean and i have my other 2 children back home.they will not contact me back, they will not let me know where my daughter lives, i havent seen her since 3-03 right b-4 my arrest.i had custody of her from birth untill sept.02, 7 1/2 yrs of her now 10 1/2yrs. what r my chances of the judge will grant their petition? also we have a standing order now that states i have supervised vivits @ a center i have been to this center & they will not respond, r they in comtempt & should i file comtepmt on them? there is an injunction thet prohibits both parties form hiding or secereing the child or the childs whereabouts,and they r. the atty i have says i should just stay focused on the situiton @ hand,& not rock the boat? what is ur oppinion? i want to see my baby & so does the rest of my family.

There is certainly a legal basis for the termination, but you have factors in your favor as you stated. I urge you to try to find an attorney to help you in this matter. You have a possibility of retaining your parental rights and getting visitation with your baby. good Luck.

If you were ordered to pay child support, then you need to be making the payments.

Lack of financial support can be one of the grounds for termination.
