Take your entire file to an experienced attorney in your area to review, however, it is not likely that you have any options. Your lack of a relationship is not cause to terminate. You can establish a relationship with the child by exercising visitation (if the mom is uncooperative, you can enforce your rights through a court order).

The simple answer is -- NO. Unless there is another man who is willing to take on the responsibility for your son, no Harris County Judge is going to terminate you. If you have an Order for child support, you should have an Order for possession and access (visitation). You could try developing a relationship with your son, or if the Mom is that bad, you could seek custody of your son.

You need to talk to a good family law attorney.
