Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

The Texas Attorney General has dropped the ball on me and my daughter since 1999. They have never opened a case against the NCP ever! They just keep closing the case without helping. I have applied for services over 50 times in 13 years. The NCP (non-resident of Texas) however was granted child-support against me by Texas in 2 weeks when he was granted custody of my child for a short period of 22 months (would have been less if he hadnt dissapeared). My daughter has been back home going on 3 years and they still havent filed an order against him! I have had my child in my legal custody over 11 years with absolutely no help and yet the State of Texas has been sending me threats to pay the NCP over 11k!, and to support my child (which I have done all her life). I paid the State of Ohio the child support I actually owed and the State of Texas (where I am a resident) had their records completely wrong so to cover it up they are now garnishing my wages $300 a month that I do not even owe the NCP!!!!! They even wrote a letter to the Senators that were inquiring on my behalf, completely invalid information about my case just to get them off their back! What do I do?

Stop dealing with the Attorney General. Don't beat a dead horse.

Hire your own lawyer and file the requisite motion for modification to set things right. Do this TODAY. Every month that goes by is costing you money - it's a month that you can't "undo."
