Re: Texas Child Custody

I'm not sure what you are asking.

Texas has sole custody and Joint custody.

The non-custodial parent has the right to determine the time of pick up and return. If a person is able to have a flexible schedule, the parent can pick up and return to school, which gives the parent more time to spend with the child.

If you live over 100 miles away, then the parent can have 42 days in the summer instead of the usual 30 days.

Also, all visitation and parental rights and duties are negotiable in Texas.

You need to talk to an attorney in person.

I charge $150 an hour to talk to a person and discuss their particular circumstances.

Can you take a child to a psychiatrist? Depends if your final decree of divorce gives you the right.

You need a certified copy of your final decree of divorce - the document signed by the Judge and is the document that controls in your situation.
