Texas custody laws after age 17
My sister wants to move out of her dads house. She is 17 and graduated from high school. Is she an independant now or is she still under the custody of her father?

For civil purposes, she is a child until she turns 18.
The moment she turns 18, she can do whatever she wants.
For criminal purposes, she is now an adult.
