Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
I am in Texas and going through a divorce due to adultery committed by my soon to be ex. After divorce is filed, I have uncovered financial dishonesty. My soon to be ex was wasting a lot of the community asset on alcohol (tens of thousands). He will spend thousands of dollar and hide that spending from me throughout the marriage. He will charge it on his credit card and not pay off the credit card even though there is money to avoid me from finding out about it. He will pay off the credit card in small nomination so I was not aware of his spending on alcohol. Can this be used during the divorce so I can be compensated as I do not even drink? Or will I just be wasting money to go down this path?

I assume that you have an attorney. You need to talk to your attorney. If you don't have one look on this website and on www.avvo.com
Usually money spent during the marriage is not reimbursable when a divorce occurs. Additionally, unless he has money to pay you back then it's a waste of time trying to get reimbursed.
I assume that you are asking for a disproportionate share of the community estate due to his actions. This is how you would get money to re-start your life.
Please talk to your attorney about this or hire one immediate to guide you in this difficult process of divorce.
