Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I am in Texas. Going through divorce. No papers filed yet. I just moved out.

We have two small girls. What is legally required of me to pay during "separation"? What would be expected of me to pay? Child care expenses?

You are not legally required to pay anything until a judge says you must. However, it is possible that your spouse may seek back child support. This would be 30% of your gross income after deducting certain expenses including, income taxes, social security, medicare premiums , union dues, health insurance (for the kids). If no papers are filed, I don't think she can seek back child support. After a divorce is filed, you spouse can seek temporary support.

Suggest you consult a family lawyer who practices in the county in which you reside.
