Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

In Texas, my girlfriend and I had a baby. She all of a sudden moved out to her former father in laws house. She came back for a week. She moved 150 miles away. This was beginning may 3rd, it's July 12th. She still has residency in this county for another month. I'm planning on filing for custody. She's suffering from undiagnosed mental issues and a long list of health issues. She's not able to care for the child. She has no job, car or even a drivers license. So our contact was suffering. She started to ignore me more n more. To the point of not responding to texts or returning phone calls. I got worried and called cps to check in on my baby. The investigator has tried to contact her with no luck at that residence. I'm a single father to another child. Full time job, stable home, no drugs or history of any wrong doings. It seems she's trying to keep low in order to get residency in another county. I'm filing to the local courts this week. She hasn't let me see my child in a month. The child needs to be with me. I now have an attorney. Can he get my baby back if she ducks service? I've thought about doing an ex parte also.

I would not represent yourself in this complex case. You've hired an attorney now let him do his/her job. If she evades service then attorney can ask for substituted service.
