In Texas, Home was bought by woman a year before marriage. Now after 6 years of marriage there is a divorce. Does the woman get to keep the house or is it community property?

The house is separate property, based on inception of title.

If house payments were made during the marriage, and the payment money came from a "community" source (ordinary income, for instance), then the "community" has a claim against the separate property house.

If is was purchased free and clear prior to the marriage, then it is separate property, period.
